Editing for Web Series

Hey everyone, I'm Leah, a Post-Production Supervisor, working on an exciting new web series and looking for a talented editor to join our team. This is a passion project, a sci-fi thriller with a dark, psychological tone, heavily inspired by Black Mirror and Twilight Zone. It's really engaging material with a lot of potential, focusing on human nature in a technologically advanced world. Key responsibilities will include assembling raw footage, creating a compelling narrative flow, sound design and mixing, basic color correction, and incorporating visual effects (if you have relevant skills, that's a huge plus). Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or After Effects would be a bonus. Please send over your reel, we're really interested in seeing your storytelling ability. This is a volunteer position, perfect for someone looking to build their portfolio, gain experience on a narrative series, or just be part of a creative team. We're pretty flexible with hours, working remotely for the most part, but with some check-ins in Los Angeles as needed. We'll provide all necessary footage and assets. Approximate post-production timeline is 6-8 weeks, starting mid-May. We're a small, dedicated crew and excited to find someone who shares our passion for great storytelling.
