Screenwriting for Corporate Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm a documentary editor working on an independent production and we're looking for a senior screenwriter to join our team. This is for a series of corporate videos, not exactly a blockbuster, but we're aiming for a fresh, engaging, and genuinely useful tone, moving away from typical corporate speak. Think more like clever explainer videos with a narrative arc, rather than dry presentations. We're developing content for a non-profit, highlighting their community impact, so there's a strong, positive message at the core of these. Your main responsibilities will involve taking sometimes complex information and distilling it into compelling, accessible, and concise scripts. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in corporate or commercial writing, ideally with examples of scripts that resonate with audiences beyond just delivering information. We're flexible on location, Brooklyn based is a plus but remote is definitely an option. The shoot dates are approximate, but we're looking at early fall, aiming for 2-3 weeks of full-time writing per video, with a few videos in the pipeline. This is a paid position, $100-200 per day, depending on experience. We provide all necessary background materials and briefings.
