Screenwriting for Pilot

Looking for a seasoned screenwriter to craft a compelling pilot episode for an upcoming sci-fi series. We’re exploring a near-future dystopia, blending gritty realism with moments of unexpected beauty, think Children of Men meets Station Eleven. This isn't just another action flick; we're seeking rich character development and thought-provoking themes. Your primary responsibility will be developing the pilot script from an existing outline, including dialogue, scene descriptions, and character arcs, in close collaboration with the showrunner. We need someone who can work independently but also thrives on creative feedback. You’ll need a strong portfolio demonstrating experience with complex narratives and genre storytelling, preferably with produced credits. Remote work is absolutely fine, though candidates in Mexico City are a bonus.
