Senior Screenwriter, Sci-Fi Pilot
Hey filmmakers, Darius here. I'm helping a director friend find a senior screenwriter for an upcoming independent production, a sci-fi drama pilot. Think a blend of character-driven storytelling with some grounded, near-future tech. It's got a really compelling core concept, exploring human connection in a fragmented world. We're looking for someone to really dig in and help shape the narrative, refine dialogue, and ensure the story arc for the pilot episode is rock solid. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the director on script development, incorporating feedback, and polishing the final draft. We need someone who’s got a strong portfolio of produced work, preferably in sci-fi or drama, and can hit the ground running. Experience with storyboarding or treatment development is a big plus. You should have a clear understanding of pilot structure and series potential. Please send a resume and a link to your best writing samples, or a reel showcasing your previous screenwriting work. This is a partnership role, so compensation will be a share of the pilot's revenue, once secured. The pilot's shoot dates are TBD for late fall in the Atlanta area, but we're looking to start writing really soon. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor of something cool with a passionate team.
