Music Video Director, Emerging Pop Artist
Hey filmmakers, I'm a Dolly Grip working on an independent production and I’m looking for an entry-level Director for an upcoming music video. This is for an exciting, independent pop artist with a really compelling sound and a unique visual aesthetic we're aiming for. Think vibrant, surreal, and emotionally resonant. We’ve got a strong concept developed but need someone with a clear vision to bring it to life. Your key responsibilities will involve translating the artistic vision into compelling visuals, leading the creative team on set, and ensuring a smooth and efficient shoot. You'll work closely with the artist and DP (who is already attached, I’m good friends with him) to execute the concept. We’re looking for someone with a strong reel demonstrating a knack for visual storytelling, especially within a musical context. While this is an entry-level position, some prior directing experience, even on short films or student projects, is a must. You don't need to provide gear, we've got that covered. Shoot dates are provisionally set for early/mid-July, likely 2-3 days of shooting. We’re offering an equity partnership in the project, so you'll be a true collaborator. This is a great opportunity to get some fantastic work for your reel and be part of a passionate, independent team.
