Directing for Pilot

Looking for a talented Director for an upcoming independent comedy pilot. It's a fun, character-driven story about an aspiring actor navigating the absurd challenges of Hollywood. Think awkward humor, relatable moments, and a touch of satire. We need someone who can bring a strong comedic vision to life, guide performances effectively, and maintain a high-energy set. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the showrunner, blocking scenes, directing actors to achieve comedic timing, and ensuring the overall tone is consistent with the script. We’re open to emerging or seasoned directors, just bring your passion and a reel showcasing your comedic sensibility. While we have basic camera/lighting kits available, familiarity with independent filmmaking workflows is a plus. We’re anticipating a 2-day shoot in late September/early October, likely 10-12 hour days. Lunch and craft services will be provided. Compensation is $300-$500/day, depending on experience.
