Director: Lifestyle Commercial, Nashville

Looking for a passionate, entry-level director to helm an upcoming lifestyle commercial for a local Nashville brand. This spot will have a warm, authentic tone, capturing everyday moments with a touch of aspirational charm. Think natural light, genuine smiles, and a subtle narrative arc. It's a great opportunity to build your reel with professional commercial footage for a widely recognized brand. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with our small creative team on shot lists, leading the cast and crew on set, and guiding the overall visual storytelling. We're looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective and a strong visual voice. Ideally, you'll have some experience directing short-form content (student films, music videos, spec spots) and a strong reel that demonstrates your directorial style and ability to elicit natural performances. While we have some basic gear, having access to your own cinema-style camera package (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket, Sony a7sIII, or similar) would be a huge plus. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late May or early June, likely two partial days, flexible to accommodate schedules. This is a volunteer position offering valuable credit, professional experience, and meals provided on set. We're excited to find a talented filmmaker to bring this vision to life!
