Associate Producer (Documentary) - Miami

Looking for an enthusiastic Associate Producer to join our independent documentary project in Miami. We're telling a powerful, character-driven story about community resilience, with a focus on vibrant local culture. It’s an inspiring narrative that we believe will resonate widely. As our Associate Producer, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Line Producer and Director with logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and crew coordination. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in documentary production, from pre-production through principal photography. Key responsibilities include assisting with permitting, location scouting, talent outreach, expense tracking, and managing daily call sheets. You'll be a vital part of keeping things running smoothly on and off set. This is an entry-level position. While prior documentary experience is a plus, your organizational skills, proactive attitude, and passion for storytelling are most important. Must be based in or around Miami. Your own laptop and transportation are required. We are a lean team, so a willingness to wear multiple hats is essential. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late spring into summer for principal photography with prep starting sooner. While compensation is deferred (points plus deferred), this project offers invaluable experience and a chance to contribute to a meaningful film.
