Cinematography for Commercial

Hey filmmakers, I'm Jordan Kemp, an aerial cinematographer, and I'm looking for an enthusiastic, entry-level 2nd AC for an upcoming commercial project here in Detroit. This is for an independent production, a short, energetic commercial promoting a local business, with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. It's a great chance to get some hands-on experience on a professional set and connect with a dedicated crew. Your main responsibilities will include slate operation, managing media, assisting with battery changes, and supporting the 1st AC and DP as needed. We're looking for someone who's organized, eager to learn, and has a strong work ethic. You should have a basic understanding of camera department workflow and ideally some personal gear, like a slate or a basic tool kit. While we're not requiring a reel, please send over a resume or a brief description of past relevant experiences. Shoot dates are TBD but likely 2-3 days in late May or early June, with typical 10-12 hour days. Lunch and snacks will be provided on set. Compensation will be D.O.E.
