Senior Editor, Music Video

We're looking for a talented Senior Editor for an upcoming music video project for an indie pop artist. The track is upbeat and vibrant, with a really cool narrative concept involving abstract storytelling and dynamic visuals. We need someone who can take our footage and craft a compelling, rhythm-driven edit that truly elevates the song. Your main responsibilities will include assembling initial cuts, collaborating closely with the director to refine the edit, incorporating visual effects (if needed, we'll advise on scope), and delivering final versions for broadcast and online use. We're looking for someone with significant experience editing music videos, a strong understanding of pacing and visual storytelling, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve). We're expecting 3-4 weeks of full-time work, though this can be flexible for the right candidate. We'll provide all necessary footage, music tracks, and a comfortable editing suite in central Manchester. Compensation will be based on your experience. This is an independent production, so we're looking for someone who's passionate and can hit the ground running.
