Senior DP, Alternative Music Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm Nadine, a script supervisor, and I'm helping our director find a senior Director of Photography for an upcoming alternative music video. This is an independent production with a surreal, dreamlike aesthetic, visually driven and very much focused on mood over narrative. We're looking for someone who can craft beautiful, evocative imagery and bring creative solutions to challenges. You'll be overseeing all camera and lighting, working closely with the director to achieve their vision. We need someone who owns a camera package suitable for high-end music video work (Arri, Red, Sony Venice, etc.) and has a strong portfolio of similar stylized projects. Your reel should clearly demonstrate your eye for lighting and composition. Shoot dates are approximately late June, early July, likely 2-3 days, with a few pre-production meetings. Standard 10-12 hour days. This is a deferred pay position, common for passion projects at this level, but we believe in open communication and transparency.
