Art Asst, Commercial Shoot (LA)

A quirky, high-energy commercial about overcoming writer's block with a new, innovative snack product needs an enthusiastic Art Department Assistant. This independent production is looking for someone to help bring our vibrant vision to life through set dressing and prop management. You'll be working closely with the Production Designer to execute the creative direction for several stylized scenes. Key responsibilities include organizing props, assisting with set builds and dressing, running errands for materials, and maintaining continuity on set. Experience on commercial sets is a plus, but we're open to passionate newcomers looking to gain experience; a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail are what we're really after. We're not requiring specific gear from you, just your talent and commitment. Our shoot is approximately 1-2 days, anticipated for the second half of October 2026. Prep work would involve about 3-5 days in the week leading up to the shoot, working standard 8-10 hour days. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and transportation support for any necessary runs.
