Art Coordinator, Pilot, Sydney AU
Seeking an experienced Art Coordinator for an exciting independent pilot shooting in Sydney, AU. We're looking at principal photography around October 15, 2026, for approximately 5-7 days of shooting spread over a two-week period. This is a dramatic pilot with sci-fi elements, focusing on a near-future dystopia, and it needs a strong visual identity. The tone is gritty and realistic, with intricate world-building in the production design. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle logistics efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include assisting the Production Designer with sourcing props and set dressing, managing art department inventory, coordinating deliveries and pick-ups, and helping to maintain the art department budget. You'll also be instrumental in communicating with various departments regarding art needs and ensuring everything is ready for each shoot day. We require a senior-level professional with at least 3-5 years of art department experience, ideally with some coordination roles under their belt. You should have a solid understanding of film production workflow, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. While specific gear isn't required for this role, access to a reliable vehicle is essential for sourcing and transport. Please provide a CV and a brief reel or portfolio demonstrating your work on past projects. Compensation is $100-200 per day, depending on experience, for an estimated 3-4 weeks of work including prep and wrap. We'll provide lunch on shoot days and all necessary production supplies. Applications close October 19, 2026, so please get in touch soon if you're interested.
