Art Department for Documentary

An independent production is seeking an Assistant Art Director to join our passionate team for an upcoming documentary. This project explores the vibrant, underground music scene of London, capturing its unique energy and the stories of its key figures. We're aiming for a raw, authentic, and visually impactful aesthetic, bringing these lesser-seen spaces to life on screen. You'll be working closely with the Art Director to realize the visual design, sourcing props, assisting with set dressing on location, and managing art department logistics. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to contribute creatively and grow within a collaborative environment. While no specific gear is required, experience in set decoration, prop management, or graphic design for film is a plus. We welcome applicants at any experience level; what matters most is enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Shoot dates are planned for the first half of November 2026, with about 10-12 days of shooting expected. There will be 2-3 days of prep work leading up to the shoot. We are offering a partnership compensation model (revenue share) for this exciting project.
