Art Department for Web Series

Seeking a senior Art Director for a compelling independent web series shooting primarily in October 2026. This role offers $100-200/day for approximately 3 weeks of work, spread across prep and shoot days. Our upcoming project is a gritty, character-driven drama with elements of psychological thriller, exploring themes of urban isolation and redemption. We're looking for someone with a strong visual storytelling sense to help define the aesthetic and bring our world to life. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the Director and Cinematographer on concept development, designing sets and sourcing props, managing a small art team (if applicable), and ensuring all art elements are production-ready and on budget. Practical details: We'll be shooting in various practical locations around Los Angeles. We are a small production company, but we provide a dedicated budget for art department expenses. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in independent film or web series, a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating their design capabilities, and a proactive attitude.
