Art Department for Feature Film

We are seeking a talented Art Coordinator for an upcoming independent feature film, a grounded sci-fi drama with a strong emotional core. This project explores themes of memory and connection through a visually distinct world, offering exciting creative challenges for the art department. We're looking for someone enthusiastic about world-building and supporting a collaborative team. Key responsibilities include assisting the Production Designer and Art Director with set decoration sourcing, prop procurement, tracking budgets, managing schedules, and coordinating logistics for various art department needs. You’ll be organizing rentals, handling returns, and ensuring all departmental paperwork is accurate and up-to-date. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as a proactive attitude. We welcome applicants at any experience level, from passionate newcomers eager to learn to seasoned coordinators looking for their next project. While specific gear isn't required for this role, proficiency with standard office software (spreadsheets, word processors) is essential. Please submit a resume outlining your relevant experience. A portfolio or reel is not necessary for this position. Prep will begin in late September 2026, with an approximate 3-4 week shoot scheduled for October 2026 in various locations around Los Angeles. We anticipate a standard 10-12 hour workday. Transportation to set and meals during production will be provided, and mileage reimbursement will be available for production-related travel. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
