Art Department for Music Video

Seeking an enthusiastic Art Production Assistant to join our independent music video crew for an exciting, visually driven project. We need someone who can hit the ground running with set dressing and prop management from day one. This music video is for an emerging Chicago-based alternative artist, featuring a dynamic, surreal aesthetic that blends urban grit with dreamlike elements. It’s a chance to contribute to a creative and high-energy shoot. Key responsibilities include assisting the Art Director with set decoration, prop handling and organization, running local errands for materials, and general on-set support to ensure the art department runs smoothly. No specific gear is required, but a strong work ethic and an eye for detail are essential. Prior experience on a set is a plus, but we’re open to eager entry-level individuals looking to gain valuable experience. We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot around September 6, 2026, preceded by about 1-2 days of prep work in late August. This is a volunteer position offering valuable on-set credit and all meals will be provided during prep and shoot days. Transportation to and from set (in Chicago) is required.
