Art Department for Pilot

Set Decorator needed for an exciting independent pilot, a gritty psychological drama set in modern-day Los Angeles. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to tell stories through environment. This is a character-driven piece, and the visual world is critical to its tone and narrative, aiming for a raw, authentic feel that enhances the tension. You will be responsible for sourcing, arranging, and dressing all set elements to align with the production design vision, working closely with me. Your responsibilities include prop management, set decoration, and maintaining the look of sets throughout filming. We're looking for someone who can work resourcefully. Please have a portfolio or reel showcasing your previous work in set decoration or art direction. We'll provide a budget for set dressing purchases and rentals. Prep will begin late August 2026, with the shoot scheduled for the first half of October 2026, approximately 5-7 shoot days. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about contributing to a compelling story and expanding their network in the indie film scene. Compensation is points plus deferred payment.
