Seeking an Art Department Production Assistant for a 3-week engagement in October 2026, offering $2000-3000/week. This is an entry-level position for an independent feature film shooting in New York, NY. Our project is a character-driven psychological thriller with a grounded, slightly surreal tone, exploring themes of memory and perception. It's a tight-knit crew, and we're looking for someone enthusiastic to jump in and learn. Key responsibilities include assisting the Set Decorator and Art Director with set dressing, prop handling, inventory management, sourcing materials, and general organizational tasks. You'll be helping maintain the aesthetic continuity and practical needs of the sets. No specific gear is required, but a valid driver's license and familiarity with the NYC area are a plus. Experience on student films or short projects is helpful, but passion and a strong work ethic are paramount.
