Assistant Editor, Comedy Pilot

Pilot Editing London, UK entry Budget: $200-400/day

Hey everyone, I'm an Editor working on an independent comedy pilot here in London and looking for a talented Assistant Editor to join our team. It's a fun, fast-paced script, think something like a British 'Veep' meets 'Parks and Rec'. We've got some great talent attached and I'm looking for someone who can help keep the post-production process running smoothly. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting footage, syncing audio, creating dailies, organising media, and preparing sequences for editing. You'll also be helping with basic colour correction and sound clean-up, and managing the project's organisation in Premiere Pro. It's an entry-level role, great for someone looking to get hands-on experience on a scripted project. Ideally, you'll have some experience with Premiere Pro and a basic understanding of post-production workflows. While we're not requiring specific gear from you, having your own laptop capable of running Premiere Pro would be a big plus. Please send over your CV and any relevant work samples (a short film, reel, or even a personal project) to show your organisational skills and technical abilities. We're looking at a commitment of approximately 4-6 weeks starting in late spring, primarily working remotely with some in-person sessions at a central London facility. We're offering a rate of £200-£400 per day, depending on experience. Excited to hear from you!
