Video Editor, Corporate Testimonials (Volunteer)

Hey filmmakers, Sofia Reyes here, a local Location Scout in Albuquerque. I'm helping a good director friend put together a small team for an upcoming corporate video project. We're looking for a talented mid-level video editor to join us for a series of testimonial videos. These aren't your typical dry corporate pieces, we're aiming for authentic, engaging stories that really connect with viewers. Think clean, professional, and visually appealing, with a touch of narrative flair. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting footage, assembling rough cuts, refining edits based on feedback, color grading, and basic audio mixing. We're shooting with good quality cameras, so you'll have decent footage to work with. We need someone who has their own editing suite and software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro. Please have a strong reel demonstrating your editing skills, especially in short-form, interview-based content. We anticipate shooting in late April or early May, with editing work to follow immediately after. This is a volunteer position, but we're providing credit, all meals on shoot days, and a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and network within the local film community.
