Assistant Editor, Music Video

We're looking for an Assistant Editor for a dynamic music video shooting in San Francisco late August or early September 2026, for approximately 2-3 days. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to get their foot in the door on an independent production. The video has a high-energy, vibrant pop-rock vibe with some surreal visual elements we're excited to bring to life in post. Your main responsibilities will include organizing footage, creating dailies, syncing audio, and preparing projects for the lead editor. We'll also need you to help with some basic selects and potentially initial rough cuts of B-roll or secondary footage. You should be proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, ideally having some experience with project management within the software. While not strictly required, having your own laptop with Premiere installed would be a plus. We’re seeking someone detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Compensation will be discussed based on experience. We're a small production team but dedicated to making something visually compelling.
