Post-Production for Feature Film
After a devastating personal loss, a young woman discovers a haunting connection to a forgotten, unsettling local legend, forcing her to confront reality and myth. We are an independent production seeking a skilled Assistant Editor for an upcoming psychological thriller feature. This project promises a dark, atmospheric tone with intricate storytelling, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a compelling narrative. You will be instrumental in managing footage, organizing media, executing initial cuts, and preparing timelines for our Lead Editor. Key responsibilities include syncing audio and video, creating dailies, assembling sequences, and maintaining meticulous project organization in DaVinci Resolve Studio. We're looking for someone with at least 2-3 feature film credits (narrative or documentary) as an Assistant Editor, a strong understanding of post-production workflows, and experience with large-scale projects. Please provide a brief cover letter outlining your experience and a link to your reel (if applicable, focusing on organization/technical skill examples). This role is expected to run for approximately 3-4 weeks, starting in early November 2026, with an estimated 40 hours per week. While Minneapolis-based candidates are preferred, remote work is entirely acceptable. We offer a flat rate of $250 per day for your expertise. We're aiming to make a decision by October 21, 2026, so please get your applications in before then.
