Post-Production for Documentary

Documentary Post-Production 🌍 Remote mid Budget: TBD

Our upcoming independent documentary feature, shot across various locations, needs a talented Colorist. We're looking at about 3 weeks of work, starting the last week of October 2026, with flexible hours. This is a powerful, character-driven story exploring themes of resilience and environmental change, with a raw, authentic tone. We've compiled a significant amount of archival footage alongside our principal photography, and the challenge will be to create a cohesive, impactful visual narrative. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the editor (that's me!) and director to establish the film's performing color correction and grading on all footage, ensuring consistency across different sources, and delivering final graded sequences. You'll need your own grading suite and software (DaVinci Resolve preferred) and a properly calibrated monitoring setup. We're seeking someone with a mid-level experience in documentary or long-form content, who has a strong artistic eye and technical proficiency. Please provide a link to your reel showcasing your best work in color grading. While we're based in Berlin, this role can be entirely remote, though local candidates are also welcome. Compensation is TBD based on experience. Please apply by November 2, 2026.
