Gaffer for Commercial Shoot (Sydney)

Hey everyone, Isla here (Costume Designer). We're looking for a Gaffer for an upcoming high-energy commercial shoot in Sydney. This spot is for a tech brand, with a modern, dynamic feel and some cool visual effects integration. It'll be a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who can work efficiently and bring some creative lighting solutions to the table. Your main responsibilities will include executing the lighting plan devised by the DP, managing the lighting crew, ensuring all equipment is set up and operated safely, and making sure the lighting consistently matches the desired mood and look. We're looking for experience lighting commercials or similar short-form content. You'll definitely need to be proficient with various lighting setups, DMX control, and power distribution. Please have a solid reel showcasing your commercial lighting work. Shoot dates are approximately late June, early July, probably 2-3 shoot days plus a prep/pre-light day. Standard 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing all major lighting equipment, but proficiency with a range of gear is a must. If you've got a great attitude and love bringing visuals to life, let's chat!
