Camera for Commercial

Looking for a mid-level 1st AC for an upcoming commercial shoot in New Orleans, LA, targeting the first two weeks of September 2026. This independent production is for a local brand, focusing on vibrant lifestyle and product shots with a bright, dynamic tone. We're aiming for a polished, energetic feel that showcases the city's unique charm alongside the product. It's a 2-day shoot with an additional prep/test day. Key responsibilities include camera setup and breakdown, meticulous focus pulling, lens changes, managing camera support, and maintaining camera logs. We need someone who is organized, proactive, and communicates well with the camera department and gaffer. You should be familiar with cinema camera systems (e.g., ARRI, RED) and have your own essential tools, including a follow focus, slate, and a comprehensive AC kit. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus. Please submit a recent reel or a list of relevant projects where you served as 1st AC. Production will provide camera package, lenses, and all necessary monitoring. Hours will be standard 10-12 hour days. Compensation is TBD, based on experience.
