Camera for Commercial

Looking for a Camera Production Assistant for a 1-2 day commercial shoot in New York City, paid $150-300 per day depending on experience. This independent production is for a lifestyle brand, featuring a warm, authentic tone with a focus on natural light and intimate moments. We're capturing everyday scenarios, aiming for a relatable, optimistic feel. Your key responsibilities will include assisting the Director of Photography and camera department with set-up, tear-down, managing batteries, organizing media, running cables, and general on-set support to ensure smooth operations. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, organized, and eager to learn the ropes of commercial production. While this is an entry-level position, some prior experience on a set, even student projects, is a plus, and basic knowledge of camera equipment is helpful. We will be shooting on a Red Raptor. Please mention any gear you are familiar with in your application; a reel or portfolio isn't strictly necessary but feel free to share if you have one. Shoot dates are TBD but will fall within late September 2026. Hours will be standard 10-12 hour days. Craft services, lunch, and water will be provided on set.
