Camera for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a dedicated 1st Assistant Camera/2nd Assistant Camera to join our small, passionate team for an upcoming web series filming in Nashville, TN. This project is a character-driven drama with elements of magical realism, exploring themes of memory and connection. We're crafting a visually rich story that relies heavily on intimate cinematography and nuanced performances. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level camera professional to gain hands-on set experience and collaborate closely with our Director of Photography. As AC, your primary responsibilities will include pulling focus, managing camera equipment, setting up shots, and ensuring the camera department runs smoothly. You will also assist with lens changes, battery management, and general camera maintenance. We are looking for someone with basic knowledge of camera systems, a strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail. Access to your own personal camera equipment is not required, as production will provide the primary camera package (likely Blackmagic or similar). However, any personal gear (monitors, follow focus, etc.) that could complement our setup would be a bonus. Shoot dates are approximately 5-7 days spread across October 2026, with some potential evening or weekend work. This is a volunteer, passion project, offering invaluable experience, on-set meals, and strong professional references upon completion.
