Camera for Music Video

We’re looking for a skilled 1st AC to join our independent music video production, focusing on a dynamic, high-energy performance with strong narrative elements. This project is for an emerging Irish artist, blending contemporary pop with a classic rock aesthetic. We need someone who can hit the ground running, assisting our Cinematographer with all camera department needs to ensure smooth operation on set. Key responsibilities include precise focus pulling, managing camera equipment, setting up and breaking down gear, and maintaining lenses and accessories. You'll be instrumental in achieving the visual style of the video. We’re seeking someone with senior-level experience, a proven track record as a 1st AC, and a strong reel demonstrating your capabilities. While we’ll be using a hired camera package, your personal tools and kit are essential. This is a passion project, and all positions are volunteer. The main shoot will be a 1-2 day shoot, likely spread across two half-days in late September 2026 or early October 2026, with a single prep day prior. Exact dates are TBD but will be within that window. We'll be providing on-set meals and refreshments. We anticipate about 3 weeks of work from prep to wrap, including a small amount of pre-production planning.
