Camera for Pilot

An independent, character-driven comedy-drama pilot, exploring themes of family and unexpected second chances, is seeking a skilled 1st Assistant Camera for an approximate 3-week shoot. This project blends witty dialogue with heartfelt moments, requiring a nuanced visual approach. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and maintaining camera equipment, pulling focus with precision, and assisting the DP with lens changes and camera setup. We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in narrative productions and a strong understanding of various camera systems. You should own a basic AC kit (tools, tape, cleaning supplies) and be comfortable working long days on an active set. We are shooting on an ARRI Alexa Mini, which will be provided, along with lenses and a complete camera package. Shoot dates are primarily in early October 2026, with some potential prep days the last week of September. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000/week, depending on experience.
