Camera for Web Series
An independent production is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled entry-level Camera Operator for an upcoming web series filming in Atlanta, GA. This project is a character-driven drama, exploring themes of resilience and community, with a grounded, naturalistic visual tone. We're a small, collaborative team looking for someone eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute creatively to a compelling story. We are a Set Dresser led project. Our lead camera position is taken. We need assistance with additional camera work. Key responsibilities include operating a B-cam, assisting with camera setup and breakdown, ensuring shots are in focus and properly framed, and maintaining equipment. You'll work closely with our Director of Photography to achieve the desired cinematic look. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Applicants should have basic knowledge of camera operation, an understanding of film set etiquette, and a strong work ethic. While we are providing the main camera package, having your own basic support gear (tripod, monitors) or a personal mirrorless camera kit for specific shots would be a plus, but is not strictly required. Please provide a brief reel or examples of your work, even if it's student projects or short films. No prior professional credits needed. We just want to see your eye. Shoot dates are anticipated for late September 2026, lasting approximately 10-12 days over a 2-3 week period. Days will typically be 10-12 hours. Compensation is $150-300 per day, dependent on experience and gear contribution. Craft services and water will be provided on set.
