1st AC, Sci-Fi Short (May Shoot)

Hey everyone, Elena Rodriguez here. I'm producing an exciting sci-fi short film, a real character-driven piece with a smart, introspective tone. Think less explosions, more psychological depth. We're looking for a skilled 1st Assistant Camera to join our team for a 5-day shoot in NYC this May (specific dates TBD, but we're aiming for mid-month). You'll be responsible for keeping our camera department running smoothly, pulling focus, and ensuring everything is meticulously maintained. We need someone with a solid grasp of various camera systems and a strong attention to detail. Please have a good understanding of camera prep and on-set etiquette, regardless of your overall years of experience. A focus pulling reel or examples of your work are a big plus. We're providing all necessary camera packages, lenses, and support, so you just need to bring your expertise and good energy. Expect 10-12 hour days. This is an independent production, so we're all wearing a few hats, but we promise a professional and rewarding experience. We're offering $500-800 per day, depending on experience.
