Director of Commercial Spots (Senior)

Hey Nashville directors, I'm a boom op on an independent production, and we're on the hunt for a seasoned Directing Partner for a series of upcoming commercial spots. These are high-energy, visually driven pieces for a local business, showcasing a blend of lifestyle and narrative storytelling. We're aiming for a fresh, authentic tone that really pops. We've got a solid concept and a strong client relationship, but we need someone with a clear vision to bring it all to life. You'll be responsible for creative direction from pre-production through post, leading the crew, collaborating closely with the client, and ensuring a compelling final product. We need someone who has directed several successful commercial campaigns, has a killer reel to back it up, and knows their way around a set. Experience managing varied production budgets and timelines is a must. This isn't a hire for a single project, but a partnership possibility, offering equity in future commercial ventures with this client and others we're building relationships with. We're looking at tentative shoot dates in late spring/early summer, likely 2-3 days per spot. Equipment will be rented, but your expertise and creative leadership are the real value here.
