Cinematography for Music Video

Our independent production is seeking an entry-level Camera Assistant (AC) to join our small team for an exciting music video project. This video is for an emerging indie electronic artist, featuring a vibrant, slightly surreal aesthetic set against diverse Brooklyn backdrops. We're aiming for dynamic, visually driven storytelling with a focus on creative lighting and movement. As our AC, you'll be responsible for assisting the Cinematographer with setting up and breaking down camera equipment, pulling focus, changing lenses, managing media, and ensuring all gear is maintained and organized. You'll be a crucial part of keeping our set running smoothly. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, eager to learn, and with a keen eye for detail. Applicants should have basic knowledge of camera systems (preferably mirrorless/DSLR setups) and experience handling professional camera equipment. Ownership of a basic AC kit (tools, tape, markers) is a plus but not strictly required. Please include a brief paragraph about your relevant experience or a link to a reel if you have one. We will provide craft services and transport gear between locations.
