Gaffer for Corporate Video (Los Angeles)

Help us illuminate the story of a innovative tech startup, showcasing their groundbreaking AI solutions with a modern, clean aesthetic. We're seeking a skilled Gaffer for an upcoming corporate video project in Los Angeles. This independent production focuses on employee testimonials, product demonstrations, and sleek office B-roll. The tone is professional, forward-thinking, and visually polished. You'll be responsible for lighting design and execution, working closely with the DP to achieve the desired look. This includes setting up and striking lighting equipment, managing power distribution, and ensuring safety on set. We're looking for someone with experience on corporate shoots or similar independent projects. Please have your own basic kit (stands, stingers, expendables) and demonstrate a strong understanding of various lighting techniques. A reel or portfolio showcasing your lighting work is required. The shoot is estimated to be 2-3 days in September 2026, with potential for a half-day prep. Exact dates are flexible within that month. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. A lighting package (LEDs, HMI, modifiers) will be provided, but your input on selection is welcome. This is a paid position, $200-400 per day, based on experience and kit. Local candidates preferred.
