Cinematography for Web Series

After a mysterious object falls from the sky, a small town's secrets begin to unravel. We're seeking an entry-level Director of Photography (DP) to join our independent web series project. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual language of a compelling sci-fi mystery, blending atmospheric tension with a grounded, naturalistic style. You'll be responsible for lighting, camera operation, and working closely with the director to achieve the desired cinematic look. Your creative input will be highly valued. We're looking for someone with a strong visual eye, comfortable with digital cinema cameras (please specify your preferred gear), and a basic lighting package. You should have a reel demonstrating your skills in narrative storytelling. This is an entry-level role, so a great attitude and eagerness to learn are as important as experience. Shoot dates are approximately the first half of September 2026, spread across about 4-5 non-consecutive days, primarily evenings and weekends, in and around the Los Angeles area. Compensation for this role is TBD (negotiable), and we'll provide craft services and some transportation assistance. We're a small production company, eager to create something impactful.
