Cinematography for Web Series

Our independent production team is looking for a skilled Gaffer to join us for an upcoming sci-fi web series. This project explores themes of artificial intelligence and identity with a stylized, near-future aesthetic. We're aiming for a polished, cinematic blending practical lighting with atmospheric elements to create an immersive world. This is a mid-level position, perfect for someone ready to take on significant lighting responsibilities. We value creative input and collaborative spirit. You will be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan in close collaboration with the DP, managing the grip and electric team, and ensuring all lighting is safe and effective. We expect candidates to have their own basic lighting and grip package suitable for a small web series, though specialized gear may be rented as needed. A strong reel showcasing your work, particularly in genre or narrative projects, is essential. Shoot dates are approximately 10-12 days total, primarily during the second half of September 2026 and potentially extending into early October 2026. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. Compensation will be competitive and discussed based on experience (DOE). We will provide catering and transportation to and from set within the Atlanta area.
