Gaffer for Indie Feature, Atlanta

Hey filmmakers, I'm reaching out from an independent production looking for a Gaffer for an upcoming feature film. This project is a gritty crime drama, think early 2000s indie thrillers, with a lot of practical lighting challenges and opportunities for some really cool visual storytelling. We're aiming for a raw, naturalistic look. As our Gaffer, you'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, managing the grip and electric team, and ensuring all lighting equipment is safe and functional. We need someone who can work resourcefully and creatively, as we're a lean crew. You should have some prior experience, even if it's on smaller sets, and ideally have some familiarity with common lighting setups and safety protocols. While we won't be able to pay a standard rate, we're offering full screen credit, delicious meals on set, and a great opportunity to build your network and portfolio on a feature.
