Cinematography for Pilot

Hey filmmakers, I'm Jerome and I'm putting together a crew for an exciting, gritty sci-fi thriller pilot shooting here in NYC. This independent production has a tight script, a talented cast, and some really cool practical effects lined up. We're looking for a skilled 1st Assistant Camera to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include pulling sharp focus, managing camera equipment, setting up and breaking down gear, and ensuring smooth operation on set. You'll be working closely with our DP to execute their vision and maintain the technical integrity of our shots. We need someone reliable, with a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have their own basic AC kit (follow focus, measuring tape, clapperboard, etc.) and a good understanding of various camera systems, particularly cinema cameras. Mid-level experience on at least a few short films or web series is preferred. Please share your reel or a list of projects you've worked on. Shoot dates are approximately 5 days in late September (exact dates TBD), with 10-12 hour days. Compensation for this pilot is deferred, with a commitment to pay upon securing series funding.
