Gaffer for High-Energy Music Video

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Gaffer to join our crew for an upcoming music video shoot in Berlin. This project is for an indie pop artist, and the concept is pretty dynamic, with lots of vibrant colors, practical effects, and some stylized lighting to reflect the energetic track. We’re working with a smaller crew but aiming for a really polished look. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with our DP to execute the lighting plan, setting up and striking lighting equipment, and ensuring safety on set. We're open to all experience levels, from burgeoning talent to seasoned pros, as long as you have a strong understanding of lighting principles and a good eye. Please have access to your own basic lighting kit and any specialized gear you'd recommend, though we can also discuss rentals for specific needs. The shoot is planned for early to mid-August, likely 3-4 days, with some potential pre-light days. We're offering a competitive rate of $2000-3000 per week, depending on your experience and equipment. We'll provide craft services, catering, and transportation for equipment.
