Gaffer for Upcoming Commercial Shoot (Brooklyn, NY)

Hey everyone, Noah here. I'm a motion graphics artist putting together a small crew for an upcoming commercial shoot in Brooklyn. This isn't a massive corporate production, it's for an independent brand with a really cool, artistic vibe, think stylish and modern with a touch of surrealism. We're looking for a skilled Gaffer to join our team. Your main responsibilities would include collaborating with our DP to execute the lighting plan, setting up and striking lights, and ensuring all electrical safety protocols are followed. We need someone who can work efficiently and creatively, translating concepts into compelling visuals through lighting. You should have your own basic kit, though we'll be renting any specialized or larger units. We're open to any experience level, as long as you've got a passion for lighting and a good eye. Please have a reel or some examples of your work available to share. Shoot dates are currently TBD but looking at 2-3 days in mid-July. Expect full days, likely 10-12 hours. We'll be providing all meals and craft services. This is a paid gig, 1000-1500/day depending on experience and kit. Looking forward to hearing from you!
