Gaffer for Pilot Episode (Drama)

Hey everyone, I'm Tyler, a camera operator putting together a crew for an upcoming pilot episode. It's a dramatic thriller, set in modern day Vancouver, with a really intriguing storyline about a tech startup and a dark secret. We're looking for an experienced Gaffer to bring their vision and expertise to our lighting team. You'll be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plans, working closely with the Director of Photography to achieve the desired mood and look. This is an independent production, so a proactive attitude and problem-solving skills are key. We need someone who can hit the ground running. You should have your own basic kit (meters, gels, flags, etc.), any additional specialty gear is a bonus but not strictly required. Please have a reel or portfolio showcasing your work on similar genre projects. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late July early August, Monday to Friday, with 10-12 hour days. Lunch and snacks will be provided on set. We're offering a competitive rate for the right talent, focusing on building a strong, collaborative crew for this exciting project.
