Commercial Sound Designer, Atlanta

Hey everyone, Marcus here. We're looking for a talented entry-level Sound Designer for an upcoming commercial project based in Atlanta. It's a high-energy, visually driven ad for a local tech startup, think dynamic transitions and a modern, punchy feel. This is a great opportunity to get some solid commercial experience under your belt. You'll be responsible for crafting all sound effects, foley, and atmosphere. This isn't just about placing sounds, we want someone who can elevate the visuals and build a compelling sonic world. Strong organizational skills are a must, as is a keen ear for detail and a good understanding of commercial pacing. We need you to have your own sound design software and a library of sounds to work with. If you have any specialized recording equipment that's a plus, but not strictly required. Please send over your reel, showcasing some of your best work (commercials or short-form projects are ideal). Previous professional experience is great, but we're open to passionate newcomers with a killer portfolio. Shoot dates are approximately late July to early August, with editing taking place shortly after. We anticipate a 3-5 day commitment for the sound design, with flexible hours. We'll provide all picture cuts and temp music, and you'll be working closely with the editor and director. This is a paid gig, $1000-1500 per day depending on experience.
