Director: Sci-Fi Pilot (NYC, Volunteer)

We're seeking a Director for an independent sci-fi drama pilot, a gripping story exploring themes of memory and identity in a near-future setting. This is a unique opportunity to shape the visual and narrative style of an ambitious project with significant festival potential. As Director, you'll be responsible for bringing the script to life, guiding performances, and collaborating with our small but dedicated crew to establish the look and feel of the series. We're looking for someone with a strong visual storytelling sensibility and a clear vision for character development. Previous directing experience, even on shorts or student films, is a definite plus. Please submit a reel or links to your previous work demonstrating your directorial style. We're open to all experience levels; talent and passion are key. Our approximate shoot dates are over two weekends in late July or early August, with approximately 10-12 hour days. We'll provide meals and snacks on set, and you'll receive full credit for your work. This is a passion project looking for someone equally passionate to lead it.
