Director for NYC Web Series

Hey filmmakers, I'm helping an independent production find a Director for an upcoming web series shooting in New York City. It's a dark comedy, kind of an ensemble piece, with a quirky sensibility and a really tight script. We're looking for someone who can bring a strong visual style and guide performances for a talented cast. Your main responsibilities will be working closely with the showrunner to develop the series' look and feel, directing actors, and overseeing the crew during production. We're open to directors at any experience level, as long as you have a clear vision and a reel that shows off your storytelling ability. We'll provide all necessary production insurance, permits, and crew. This isn't a gear-heavy show, so no special equipment is required from you, just your creative leadership. Shoot dates are TBD but we're aiming for a 3-4 week block in late summer/early fall. Expect standard 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $1000-1500 per day, depending on experience.
