Miami, late August for 3-4 weeks, for an independent feature film. We're seeking a passionate Director for an ambitious micro-budget sci-fi thriller. The story is a mind-bending, character-driven piece about a scientist who discovers a temporal anomaly, leading to paranoia and a desperate race against time. Think early Christopher Nolan meets a grounded Black Mirror episode, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling and psychological suspense. You'll be responsible for bringing our vision to life, guiding the creative direction, working closely with the cast and crew, and delivering a compelling narrative. This is a passion project, so we need someone with a strong artistic voice and the ability to make impactful decisions on a lean production. We're open to all experience levels, from seasoned indie veterans to talented newcomers ready to make their mark. A solid reel showcasing your ability to evoke mood, tell a story, and work with actors is essential. Experience directing genre films, especially sci-fi or thrillers, is a big plus.
