Director, Sci-Fi Thriller Pilot (Brooklyn)

Hey filmmakers. I'm a Motion Graphics Artist working on an exciting sci-fi thriller pilot, and we're on the hunt for a talented Director to bring our vision to life. This is an independent production with a twist, mixing psychological suspense with high-concept sci-fi. Think 'Black Mirror' meets early 'Arrival' vibes. We've got a compelling script focusing on a character grappling with fragmented memories and a strange, unfolding technological mystery. We need someone who can craft a strong visual narrative, direct actors to nuanced performances, and isn't afraid to get creative with limited resources. You'll be responsible for shot listing, blocking, guiding performances, and generally being the creative captain. We're looking for someone entry-level but passionate, with a strong visual reel demonstrating your storytelling abilities. Gear for the shoot will be mostly provided, but if you have access to any specialized equipment, let us know. Shoot dates are tentatively planned for late summer/early fall in Brooklyn, approximately 3-4 days. This is a partnership opportunity, with compensation in the form of revenue share from festival submissions and potential distribution down the line.
