Director, Web Series (Suspense/Sci-Fi)

Hey filmmakers, I'm Elena, a producer on an exciting new independent web series in pre-production. We're looking for a sharp, mid-level Director to lead our upcoming project, a suspenseful sci-fi series with a deep, character-driven narrative. Think Black Mirror meets The Twilight Zone. We're building a unique world and seeking someone who can visually translate complex psychological themes and emotional tension onto the screen with a distinct cinematic flair. Your primary role will be to interpret the script, guide performances, and work closely with the DP and crew to achieve our stylized aesthetic. We need a director with a strong visual storytelling sense, experience directing character-focused drama, and a proven ability to manage a set efficiently. Please have a solid reel showcasing your best work in narrative shorts or web content. Experience with VFX-heavy projects is a plus, but not essential. We'll provide all necessary production insurance, crew, and locations. Shoot dates are approximately late October/early November in New York City, likely four to five days per episode. This is a chance to put your stamp on a series with real potential.
