Screenwriter, Dark Comedy Pilot

Looking for a screenwriter to join an independent production for an upcoming dark comedy pilot in Brooklyn. This project is a gritty, character-driven story with a surreal twist exploring urban alienation. We're aiming for something in the vein of a slightly more absurd 'Atlanta' meets 'BoJack Horseman'.

Your main responsibility will be collaborating on rewrites and polishing the existing pilot draft. We're looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, sharp dialogue, and a keen sense of comedic timing to the script. This isn't a ground-up writing gig, but rather finessing and strengthening an already solid foundation.

We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned pros. What matters most is your voice and your passion for this kind of material. You'll primarily be working remotely, but we'll have occasional in-person meetings in Brooklyn. We're looking to start around late April, early May, for approximately 2-3 weeks of focused work, with flexibility. You'll be compensated $200-400 per day, dependent on experience and output.
