Gaffer (Corporate Video, Los Angeles)

Hey LA crew, I'm an Art Director working on an upcoming corporate video project and we're looking for a Gaffer to join our small, but passionate team. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, we're aiming for a really clean, modern, and visually engaging aesthetic to tell a compelling brand story. Think interview setups paired with some stylized product shots and clean, well-lit spaces. Your primary role will be to execute the lighting design, working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve the desired look. This includes setting up and striking lights, gels, diffusion, and ensuring everything is powered safely. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of lighting principles, color temperature, and how to shape light effectively. Experience level is open, so if you're a newer Gaffer looking to build your reel, please apply! Just have a reel or some work samples you can share. You should ideally have access to a basic lighting package (LEDs, stingers, C-stands, flags, etc.) We might supplement with some rentals depending on the final plan. Shoots are expected to be 1-2 full days in early to mid-August, with potential for some prep work beforehand. Exact dates TBD, we'll confirm soon. We're offering this as an equity partnership, and it's a great chance to contribute creatively to an independent production.
